ADVENTURE IN VARGEM GRANDE |

Come enjoy the peace and the beauty of nature in Vargem Grande. The mountainbike adventure will take place in the area near Pedra Branca Park, among mountains, forests and springs, until we arrive at a beautiful waterfall with a delightful pond for swimming.
The route begins at 8 a.m. at meeting point at the Alvorada Bus Terminal in Barra da Tijuca (second entrance after Detran). Departure is at 8:20 a.m., heading to Vargem Grande. Arrival at the starting point for biking is around 9:00 a.m. Before the trail begins, a guide introduces members of the group, leads a special stretching session, (T-shirts and individual kits containing snacks and other items will be distributed).
After initial procedures, the ride begins through beautiful trails until we arrive at a waterfall, where we stop for 30/40 min. for a swim and a snack.
On the way back, the group takes an alternative route to the starting point, where we have a stretching/relaxing session. If you want to have lunch, we suggest the Vargem Grande Gastronomic Center, near the horse breeding farm, which offers many different options, listed in all the gastronomic guides in town.
