Located in the Municipality of Itaguaí, on the southern Green Coast, about one hour from Rio de Janeiro Downtown, you can find complete infrastructure for polo players. São Fernando Polo Club is the home of the Carioca (from Rio de Janeiro) team, winner of most Brazilian championships, besides holding many awards from international tournaments.
São Fernando Polo Club offers classes for beginners and clinics for more seasoned players, adapting the program to the participant's level. There is no age limit and it is open to both men and women.
Price per person per hour/class: US$ 233.00
The program includes: Private transfer from the South area of Rio de Janeiro to the Polo ground, 01 hour of training with a team of specialists, trained ponies, water, soft drinks, beer and insurance against personal accidents.
For the classes, students should bring riding boots and gloves. Ponies, mallets and balls will be provided.
